Project SchIBZ

Within the project SchIBZ a 500 kW power generation set demonstrator for seagoing vessels will be developed and manufactured.

The plant is intended to serve the power network of a vessel solely or in combination with a diesel genset. Main features are the utilisation of proven equipment, customised to be teamed up, and alternative fuels.

A fuel cell system suitable for use at sea (HotModule) is to be developed on land and then tested at sea in everyday operation on a ship for some 10 months.
